Billy Gladstone Exhibit
This new exhibit is anchored by one of only two Billy Gladstone Drum Sets remaining in the world. This Drum Set was generously donated to Rhythm! Discovery Center by David and Colette Wood.
- View one of the only four complete drum sets – and one of the only two still in existence – crafted by Billy Gladstone.
- Learn about two of the unique snare drums that Gladstone built for Buster Bailey, percussionist for the New York Philharmonic, and Shelly Manne, the famed jazz drummer.
- See the drum set constructed by percussionist Arnie Lang at the turn of the millennium as a tribute to Gladstone, which utilizes Gladstone’s signature “Three Way Tuning”.
